Frequently Asked Questions
Everything clients usually ask before booking. Still curious about something? Send us a note — we answer every message personally.
Most clients describe pressure and light scratching rather than pain. We apply topical numbing before and during the procedure, and check in with you throughout. If you are sensitive, tell us — we will slow down and re-numb.
Typically 12 to 18 months, depending on skin type, sun exposure, and skincare (retinoids and heavy exfoliation fade pigment faster). Oily skin may need refreshes sooner. An annual colour boost keeps brows crisp.
Brows look bolder for the first few days, then flake lightly and soften over 2 to 4 weeks. Lips swell mildly for a day or two, then flake and lighten over 7 to 10 days. We give you a balm, written aftercare, and direct support for the whole healing window.
Microblading is not suitable during pregnancy or nursing, for those on blood thinners or Accutane, or over active eczema, psoriasis, or undiagnosed moles in the brow area. Diabetics and those with autoimmune conditions should get physician clearance first. Unsure? Book a consultation and we will assess honestly.
Avoid alcohol, aspirin, and ibuprofen for 24 to 48 hours before (unless medically required), skip brow waxing and tanning for two weeks, and arrive with clean skin. Bring reference photos of brows or lip shades you love — they help us calibrate faster.
Every initial session includes consultation, custom mapping and design, the full procedure, an aftercare kit, and one perfection touch-up at 6 to 8 weeks. No surprise add-ons, ever — the price we quote is the price you pay.
Yes — and that is normal. Fresh pigment always appears 30 to 40 percent darker than the healed result. Trust the process: colour softens considerably as skin heals, and your touch-up visit fine-tunes the final tone.
Keep makeup off the treated area until flaking finishes (about 10 to 14 days for brows, 7 to 10 for lips) to avoid infection and pigment loss. The rest of your face is fine — just steer clear of the healing zone.
